Krupi and Prash's Hindu Wedding at Oshwal Centre

Krupi and Prash’s Hindu wedding took place at the beautiful Oshwal Centre in Potters bar over the summer and it was such a memorable day!
When I met Krupi on the morning of the wedding day, she was full of life and energy and I loved capturing her crazy personality throughout the day. Prash (as always), was chilled when I met him in the morning and was busy perfecting his beard and moustache, it was worth it as he definitely looked the regal part in her Sherwani!

The day started with a lively procession from Prash’s side and the energy was matched my Krupi’s side when both families came together with a solid dance off between both families. I could tell that everyone had become close and it was fun capturing both families coming together as one.

The Hindu wedding ceremony was beautifully conducted by Milan Mehta and it was a lively one which was a reflection of Krupi and Prash’s personalities. A fun Hindu wedding tradition is where the bride’s side try and steal the groom’s shoes before he enters the mandap and it’s always a fun part to capture. Krupi’s side really went for it and you’ll see how crazy it got…I wonder if the shoes survived!

The wedding day was a mix of emotions throughout the day for both families. Even though a wedding day is a happy occasion, there were times where tears were caught and it was a privilege to capture these (happy and sad) moments. For me, the wedding day is much more than just photographing the ceremony, it’s about the little things that happened inbetween and I know the families will cherish the moments forever.

Krupi and Prash, it’s been a joy getting to know you both and seeing your personalities in the moments captured, I know they will bring you a lifetime of joy and I look forward to seeing you both soon.
