Meera and Mitesh (Mits) are an amazing couple whom I have had the pleasure of getting to know really well over the last year.
A few months back I spent some time with them during their pre wedding shoot and for me, a pre wedding shoot is a great way for me to gel with my couples and get them comfortable infront of the camera, thanks for braving out the mud, insect bites and the hayfever.
Fast forward to July and it was time for Meera and Mits’ Hindu wedding which took place at the beautiful Bhaktivedanta Manor in Watford (Hare Krishna Temple).
I love photographing at the Manor, its my local temple and there’s always a calming feeling when I go there. Meera was getting ready the bridal suite and when I got there, I was a bit over whelmed with the chaos while Meera and her mum were getting ready (haha, sorry Meera) but it made me approach the situation slightly differently and I managed to squeeze into arkward positions and get some cool shots as you’ll see later on. Meera looks absolutely stunning on the day, she had a very regal look to her and Mits scrubbed up well too 😛
I love capturing fun and laughter at weddings and Meera and Mits’ family are full of this. Everyone was in great spirits throughout the day and some amazing moments and emotions were captured. I had blast capturing the wedding ceremony and everyone involved and it was great seeing everyone the week after at the civil and reception party. Some of my favourite moments are the moments inbetween the ceremony.
Sundar Madhava Das from the temple was the priest for the day and he beautifully conducted the wedding ceremony for Meera and Mits, it was the perfect start to becoming Mr and Mrs Vora.
Here are a selection of moment’s that I love and wanted to share. Meera and Mits, I wish you guys all the very best and I hope the memories captured last you a lifetime. A Big Thank You to both Badal and Vora families for making me feel so welcome throughout the wedding events.
Massive Thank you to Meheer for his assistance on the day.
