Meeta and Paren hosted their Asian/Indian wedding events over two days at the stunning Cambridge Marina. It was a weekend full of smiles, genuine moments and lots of hugs between the family and friends. This is what I absolutely love to capture on a wedding celebration.
The two days were a lot of fun to capture and I had an absolute blast hanging out with both families. Having photographed Meeta’s sister’s wedding almost 9 years ago, it was lovely catching up with everyone (especially meeting the new additions) and also getting to know Paren’s family. ??
The Hindu wedding took place with the backdrop of the Cambridge countryside which was perfect for the ceremony. The weather played its part as it was hot and sunny. I have to admit, I wanted to jump in the river straight after the ceremony but I resisted!
The day after the Hindu wedding, Meeta and Paren held a garden party in the afternoon and that was an absolute laugh! Big Jenga’s, basketball hoops, bowling, a bouncy castle for the kids, although it was packed with the adults. I even jumped in with my cameras to capture the fun! Soon after in the evening it was time to celebrate till late in the evening and I had a blast with everyone at the reception party; wait till you see the photographs and you’ll see how crazy it was!
Meeta, Paren (and families) Thank you ALL for making me feel so welcomed and part of the celebrations, I feel like I’ve gained a whole new Patel family and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
